Rice Warehouse Receipt System Applied in Solo

Jakarta Provincial Government is trying to stabilize rice stock in the city with assigning receipt system of rice commodity in Pedaringan rice warehouse, Solo, Central Java.

After permission is i ssued, we will activate the system immediately

Director of PT. Food Station Tjipinang, Arief Prasetyo Adi, said that warehouse receipt system implementation must wait for permission from Goods Commodity Supervisory Board (BAPPEBTI).

" After permission is issued, we will activate the system immediately ," he said, Tuesday (1/17).

Rice Stock in Jakarta is Safe

He explained, with the system, rice stock in city can be stabilized because his team can buy rice directly from it source and keep the price stable.

"Later, management function and standby buyer will be focused in that location," he expressed.

According to him, rice warehouse in Pedaringan, Solo, can afford 2,000-4,000 tons of rice. Besides, his team will also activate the system in five locations.

"Two in Indramayu. Next three are in Cairu, Ngawi, and Majalengka. Ngawi is about 2,000 tons and other areas is 200-300 tons," he closed.
